Travel the world without leaving Budapest! A new place right next to Nyugati railroad station has 4 rooms with themes: jungle, ocean, pirate and savannah. The ocean room has colourful fish and offers sea food, mostly. The savannah has lizards and snakes on display, and the jungle has vines and living scorpions behind tempered glass. The pirate room is a boat with the best food ever!
V.I.Pub&Dance
The famous Nagymező street has a new darling, and one that offers to treat you like a king. Great food, affordable quality drinks, in an ultramodern setting in the heart of the city, in the illustrious 6th district, the party capital of the entire country, where night is as exciting as day. Their motto is “feel special” and they make sure that you do!
Pléhcsárda
A world famous fast food establishment, serving the best that Hungary has to offer in portions that no single person could ever possibly finish. Get a kilo of meat, a kilo of potatoes, two enormous slices of bread, two glasses of juice and an enormous portion of homemade pickles for less than two thousand forints (around 5 pounds). They specialize in Hungarian cuisine, but European staples like Wiener schnitzel are served, too.
WOW American Retro Diner
The pink, throbbing neon sign is just the first step towards that authentic diner feel, and it is completed with shakes, burgers, curly fries, waffles and sugar syrup coated goodness. Even the interior is authentic, with Elvis on the walls, Fats Domino in the jukebox, and pin up girls taking your orders. Take a time machine to the USA of the 50s, and enjoy a meal in style.
